Good to know before you explore

Wildflowers and seasonal change

The highlands change character across the year. Grass colour, mist, water levels and seasonal flowers can make a slower walk or drive rewarding even when wildlife sightings are limited.

Wetlands, viewpoints and easy nature time

Not every nature day needs a long itinerary. A viewpoint, short authorised walk, time with binoculars or a scenic drive can create space for observation without placing pressure on the landscape.

Pack for changing conditions, carry water, respect gates and signs, and leave natural areas as you found them.

Private nature walks

A possible private nature-walk offering is being explored for the future. It is not yet an advertised service. Guests may register interest, but no route, duration, price, availability or guide credentials should be promised until every operational detail is confirmed.
